Standard product line
The Best Friend blue standard product line includes specific seeds and seed mixtures, fat balls and nuts of good quality at affordable prices. The food contains all the essential nutrients and maintains a well-balanced content of proteins and carbo hydrates which has been adjusted to the birds’ nutritional requirements all year round.
High quality product line
The Best Friend golden high quality food product line includes the birds’ preferred sorts of seed, like millet seeds and sunflower seeds along with delicious nuts. Flavour tests show that birds love the high quality food which gives you the opportunity of attracting even more birds to your garden.
The food contains all the essential nutrients that the birds need and has a high level of fat along with a well-balanced content of proteins and carbo hydrates which has been adjusted to the birds’ nutritional requirements.
The high level of fat provides extra energy for the birds in the breeding season and in the following moulting season – and not least in the cold wintertime. This is why the high quality product line has been adjusted to the birds’ requirements all year round.
Fat balls
The Best Friend fat balls are rich in energy, and natural minerals have been added to the fat balls in order to maintain plumage and skeletons and, during the breeding season, to form the egg shells and bring up healthy nestlings. The product line consists of different types of fat balls. ´
Regular fat balls sealed in green nets are adjusted to all kinds of birds and can be used all year round.
Flavoured fat balls with different ingredients such as nuts, insects, berries and fruit, meet the birds’ natural requirements of varied food which can be hard to find in wintertime and in the breeding season.
Coated fat balls contain three different sorts of seed which the birds enjoy as they find great pleasure in picking out the seeds, since this is similar to their behaviuor when they are picking out seeds from natural feeds.
Nut cakes and bars are rich in nuts which the birds love and are available in funny shapes and colours. Nut balls with 34% fat are the birds’ favourite. The nut balls are very rich in energy which makes them perfect for hard times such as wintertime and the breeding season.
Seeds and nuts

Several seeds and seed mixtures are available, e.g. sunflower seeds, hempseeds along with seed mixtures, composed and optimised to attract many different kinds of birds at the feeding station.
Sunflower seeds contain many polyunsaturates and A and B vitamins which help keeping the feathers, beak and eyes in good shape. Nuts are very rich in energy and are among the favourites of many birds. Best Friend nuts can be used in feeders, or you can be hang them in trees.
